Get a Package You Didn’t Order? It Could Be Medicare Fraud - A few weeks ago, Patrick Nahass received a package that he never ordered. He had to sign for it when it was delivered to his home. Medicare Advantage’s ‘Secretive Maze’ Of Costly Marketing & Incentives Needs An Overhaul, Senate Report - The “secretive maze of marketing and enrollment incentives” surrounding Medicare Advantage costs taxpayers extra money and needs an overhaul, according to a new Senate report. The report by Sen. Ron Wyden, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Finance Committee, calls for reforms on the marketing practices of Medicare Advantage, or MA, which is the private-plan alternative to traditional Medicare that serves more than half of the Medicare market.
